The poem that is more important to me is The Castle On Fire because I look at it as a different way like the knight is like God because he will save you from any harm.
ReplyDeleteI can make a connection with The Castle On Fire because once when I was little I was with my sister Lark, and we were playing a game, and I was about to walk right into a really big thorn bush, and she pushed me away, but she fell into the thorn bush because she had pushed me out of the way.
I like the rhyming in How to Eat a Poem because it's telling the story, but is still rhyming. Also I liked how the person who is telling the story tells the story like how a person who speak now instead of how people who speak back when there was slaves.
How to Eat a Poem is more important to me because I like poems.

ReplyDeleteI can make a connection with The Castle in the Fire because once I was at the beach and I was with my brother Gray. When we got down to the ocean we didn't realize that the ocean had a high hazard flag up. I jumped in the water before Gray. I looked behind me a and saw a HUGE wave. Gray jumped in the water and pushed me under the wave so I wouldn't get hurt.
I like the fantasy words in The Castle in the Fire better than How to eat a poem. It talks about dragons,knights,princes, princesses. Everything you could think of in a fantasy world.
The poem that has more of a meaning to me is The Castle in the Fire because it reminds me of a princess book that I read as a little girl and it really brings back the memories of the books plot.

I like in The Castle in the Fire how she used old language and rhyming to tell you about the fight against the dragon and about the lady in the tower.

ReplyDeleteI connect to How to Eat a Poem because my family is always telling me that I have to be polite when I am eating something. Also I usually do have to use silverware.
I like How to Eat a Poem better because I like the story that they are telling. I also like that they are telling a story, but they are still making it rhyme.
How to Eat a Poem, is about a person telling the reader how to eat a poem and it tells you to dig in and don't be shy to eat the poem.
