  1. I think I can make connection to Choosing Shoes because sometimes I have trouble choosing my shoes.

I think that Choosing Shoes also has more meaning because he is asking the reader what shoes he should get and at the end he makes up things about the shoes.

I think that Choosing Shoes has better poets craft because it is funny.

  4. I can make a connection with "Life Does't Frighten Me" because I can be scared of things and still am. I think that the poet kinda said where he was scared of them, but had a way to not be.

I think the poem that has more meaning is "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" because it has a way with getting into your real emotions about what you are scared of.

I put my vote out to "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" because the poet (and pets craft) is very well thought out and knows how to get to the reader. I think the thing that I like a lot about would have to be that it talks about interesting things that the poet is afraid of.

  5. I had a connection with Life Doesn't Frighten Me. I have a connection with this poem because I can really relate to the person who is saying the poem because I say that I'm not afraid of ghost the dark, or wired noises and lots of other stuff. I always say I'm not scared when the whole time I'm scared more than ever.

I think Lie Doesn't Frighten Me should win the whole thing because this poem has the most meaning because of its bravery.

I LOVE how this poem rhymes and how the author thought this poem out. I realty enjoy reading this poem over and over again.

  6. I have a connection with Life Doesn't Frighten Me, because sometomes in life you have to not be scared and power through like my dad who broke his shoulder. They had to put a medal plate in there, but he didn't panick.

I like the meaning of Life Doesn't Frighten me more than The Eagle.

I like the way the author describes the eagle that drops.

Even though I have a connection and more meaning to Life Doesn't Frighten Me I like the Eagle better!

  7. The first poem, The Eagle was more meaningful to me because it talks about an eagle soaring and being independent on its own.

  10. I choose the Castle in the Fire because it has a happy ending that makes me feel satisfied instead of feeling like it was worth nothing.

The next reason I chose The Castle in the Fire was because I could make a connection from a book called Ink Spell. It also talked about a fire-eater called Dust-finger and a bot named Farid that rescue's Meggie's father from the Adder-head's castle.

It used ABCB as it's rhyme scheme.

Life Doesn't Frighten Me means more to me because it teaches a lesson. The Eagle only teaches you how to catch fish with your feet!

I can connect to Life Doesn't Frighten Me because I'm not scared of life. (most of the time!);)

I liked The Eagles rhyming scheme more than Life Doesn't Frighten Me.

  14. The poem, Life Doesn't Frighten Me means more to me because life is scary, but fear comes from your head. Even though there are many scary things in the world we have to set them aside and keep on going.

I have a connection with Life Doesn't Frighten Me. When I was little I felt like the world is so much bigger than me, and I was scared of the one day I will die. I was also scared of how that might happen.

My favorite poets craft in Life Doesn't Frighten Me is the rhyming because I like how all the fears rhyme, and how the poet comes up with all of the fears.

I have a connection with The Eagle, I was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There is a lot of animals there. I was on a boat when I saw an eagle eating fish calm and relaxed, but then my brother scared the eagle off and it's wings were big and graceful like a lightening bolt he zoomed across the sky.

That gave me a awesome feeling inside because I really liked seeing that eagle fly by,

I really loved the rhyming of this poem!
