I connect to Life Doesn't Frighten Me because nothing is scary, are minds think they are.

I can connect with Life Doesn't Frighten Me because there are certain things in life that I know could scare me, but some of the things don't scare me in life because I know God will be you me every day of my life.
ReplyDeleteI really like the poets craft in Life Doesn't Frighten Me because I like all the details, and I like how the poem has rhyming, but it still makes lot's of sense. Also I like how the poem is almost telling the story in a list.
I can connect to the poem Life Doesn't Frighten Me because I'm sometimes scared in life just like the character in the poem is and I try to not ever let it get in my way. Even though sometimes I make mistakes and I get scared i'ts just life.
ReplyDeleteI like the poem Life Doesn't Frighten Me best because it actually has a meaning and in its poets craft I liked how it used lots of similes, how it rhymed lots of the words in the poem together, and how it also used a lot of repetition throughout the poem.
I can connect to Life Doesn't Frighten Me because I'm not very scared of life. I also made a connection because you shouldn't be scared of life or you won't have fun!

My favorite poem is The Castle in the Fire because I can connect to the book, for example, when the Prince leaves the castle with the princess. In a book called Ink Heart, Dustfinger and Farid rescue Mo and his wife out of the Adderhead's Castle.

Last but not least, I chose The Castle in the Fire because the words are like a stream.
I can connect with Life Doesn't Frighten Me because once I got stuck in the woods skiing. I thought there was no way out but I told myself not to be scared and try to get out and I did get out.

The Castle in the Fire was more meaningful to me because it reminded me of an older story or folk tale of a sort.
ReplyDeleteThe first poem, Life Doesn't Frighten Me, I can make a connection with because I used to be scared of this movie's previews, (Paranormal something) and now I am over it and not scared anymore.
My favorite poem was The Castle in the Fire because of the rhyme scheme, ABCB, and its choice of words to fit the timing.
I can connect with Life doesn't frighten is that one time I was scared of a lot of things and my mom told me not to be afraid of anything.

Life Doesn't Frighten Me has a strong writers craft I look up to this person she has a special meaning in this poem to know that God is here for you, and I know a lot of people in this world are having a harder time than me.
ReplyDeleteThe Castle In The Fire Is a nice poem, But even though I love fairy tales this poem can not be compared to the meaning of Life Doesn't Frighten me.
My choice for the championship is Life Doesn't Frighten Me because i love the writers craft, and my favorite part is it reminds me to be strong though tough times in my life with my diabetes and my dad.
I connect to the poem "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" because I am like that to. I get scared of lots of things and some of those things are in the poem. I also like that it also talks about how you can prevent you being scared of somethings. I can also connect to "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" because things in life will scare you, but you will have to stand up to them.
ReplyDeleteI like the poets craft more in "Life Doesn't Frighten Me." It was a very hard pick for me because both poems were fantastic and they were written very well. But I had to go with "Life Doesn't Frighten Me's" poets craft because the things that the poet says he is afraid of all these things that we sometimes (and do) are not afraid of. The repetition rhyme scheme is very thought out, I liked this poem the best.
Life Doesn't Frighten Me means more to me because I know that life is scary, but you have to keep pushing through. I also chose this poem because I like how it states all these fears, but on the other hand it also keeps repeating "Life doesn't frighten me at all."

I did not choose Castle in the Fire because I like poems about positive thoughts. Like in Life Doesn't Frighten Me it repletes life doesn't frighten me at all. Although in Castle in the Fire it has a happy ending. I don't like dragons.
I can connect with Rodger the Dog because my dog is REALLY lazy. He eats, sleeps, then goes to the bathroom, Then it goes all over again.
ReplyDeleteI like the poet's craft in Rodger the dog. It tells a story and Choosing Shoes is just about shoes. I like lazy words.
I connected with Roger the Dog when I am lazy I sometimes like to be lazy and jump in bed and read a book or sleep.

Roger the dog connects to me more because I have a dog who is lazy and sleeps all day too! She only wakes up when I walk into the room. I love my dog very much, so I automatically have to pick this poem.

My favorite poem is choosing shoes! I connect with Choosing shoes because I always can not choose only one pair of shoes I have to get at the least 3 pairs of shoes at a time. I also always know what I want to get before I go shoe shopping, but then I forget and have to try to find the perfect pair from memory.

I like Life Doesn't Frighten me the best because of the way they describe not to be scared.
I have a connection with Life Doesn't Frighten Me because we all get scared and we all say that the things that scare us is not real and sometimes it isn't and some times it is, but all I know is that God has are backs and he will protect us in that scary moment because the Bible says that the lord is always with us no matter where we go and what we go though.
ReplyDeleteI really like how this author made this poem rhyme. I also like how this poem helps me in life and how this poem is telling you to have confidence in a way that kids will under stand better.
I like this poem more than The Castle in the Fire because I think Life Doesn't Frighten Me has a bigger meaning and I like how this poem rhymed more than the other.
