  1. I think choosing Shoes' meaning is more important to me because it is a funny story and reminds me of funny clowns with big shoes.

I have a connection with Choosing Shoes because I can never decide what shoes to get when it comes to getting new ones.

I thing Choosing Shoes' writer's craft was better because it rhymed better and had repetition; Life Doesn't Frighten Me had the same writer's craft, but I liked Choosing Shoes better.

  2. The first poem, Choosing Shoes, is about a person who is telling her parents that she likes all of these different types of shoes, but that they will only buy the shoes that she doesn't like at all.

The second poem, Life Doesn't Frighten Me, is about a person who is saying that life isn't frightening at all, and even if He/She may be afraid sometimes it doesn't mean that He/She is always scared.

I chose the poem Life Doesn't Frighten Me because I liked the way the poet used repetition.

    1. I think the first poem Life Doesn't Frighten Me has more meaning than Choosing Shoes does because in Life Doesn't Frighten Me the person is saying that even if he/she can be scared of things sometimes everybody is scared every once in a while and that it's okay to be scared sometimes.

I have a connection with Choosing Shoes because usually every time I go shoe shopping and I want a certain pair of shoes my mom doesn't like she always says that I can't get them because she doesn't like them or she thinks I look to much like a grown up in them.

I think that Life Doesn't Frighten me should win because the poet uses more repetition and rhymes more words in this poem than in the other poem Choosing Shoes.
