I picked the castle in Fire, because I liked how the poet put it at a announcers point of view.My connection to The castle in Fire, Is that I like being the announcer at my brothers activities like Baseball etc........ I also like how the author used writers craft such as rhyming etc.....

I chose Castle in the Fire because I love Fantasy books. I liked the rhyming and the description. I also saw a lot of fancy lingo.
The first poem, Do you carrot all for me?, is about a person who is telling a story asking questions like do you carrot for me at all? The person is asking all the questions, but asking them by asking the questions using food.
ReplyDeleteThe second poem, The Castle in the Fire, is about a knight who sees a girl, and then he sees these dragons, and then he wants to protect the lady, so he goes and kills the dragons.
My favorite poem is, The Castle in the Fire because I really liked all the details, and I liked the way it was telling a story. Also I liked at the end were the person telling the story acts like the knight dies, but then the text says he comes out of the smoke.

ReplyDeleteThe second poem, The Castle in the Fire by Mary Jane Carr, is about an evil dragon at a castle fighting with a knight over a lovely lady in the castle. Eventually the knight wins the battle and rides away on the horse with the lady. In this poem there is lots of imagery and is told from third person.
My favorite poem was The Castle in the Fire because it was longer and it has more imagery.

My favorite poem is The Castle In the Fire, because I love the story/fairy tale kinda poem. It took me there in just rhyming, great criteria and just the writers craft of making me have a mental movie.

I'm a big fan of dragons and dragon fights, so The Castle On Fire was a good poem what I liked about this poem the most is that it is like a blob of a fairy tale.
