The first poem, Do You Carrot All For Me?, is about someone who wants to get married. The person keeps using his favorite foods to describe how much he loves her, and what their life is going to be like.
The second poem, The Castle in the Fire, is telling a story about a knight fighting a dragon to save a princess. This story is really thrilling with a lot of fighting.
I liked Do You Carrot All For Me? because even though it had no rhyme scheme, it used funny little food jokes to paint a picture in your mind. Also, it makes you smile a little bit. I choose How To A Poem because it had imagery of taste. It had 3 stanzas. It kind of has personifacation except it is giving a poem FOOD traits, so I guess foodifacation!

I think the author who wrote how to eat a poem was inspred by he child who would not eat her dinner so her mom wrote a poem about it in hope that she would eat her food.

I think The New Suit should win because it was more interesting to read then How to Eat a Poem. I also think The New Suit should win because I liked how The New Suit said all the different colors and designs you can get in a suit. I also liked how Nidia Sanabria De Romero said how the guy had suggestions on how to eat and drink in which I think was interesting.

I think the winner should be The New Suit. This poem uses description on how he did not want his new perfect suit to get dirty. It also uses imagery. For example, when the writer says, "Don't eat the ice cream, because it might drip" he is using imagery.
The first poem I read was The New Suit. This poem was a funny poem about somebody who is wearing an uncomfortable outfit/suit to his birthday party. After eating a lot of cake and ice cream he is much bigger so the new suit is now to small.
