  1. Life Doesn't Frighten Me has the most important meaning to me because that is what I should tell my self.

I can make a text to self connection because I once told my self when I was scared to do something.

The poem gave me a lot of imagery about that time I told myself that.

  2. The first poem I read was" Choosing Shoes". It is about a clerk that describes shoes. He tells about the shoes and what he likes. He knows what the most popular shoes are people like to buy.

The second poem was "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" and it is about a boy who is not scared of anything. He see's shadows on the wall, ghosts, Panthers, and strangers yet is not scared. He has a magic charm up his sleeve. I think it is the Lord.

The poem I like the best is " Life Doesn't Frighten Me". It has more meaning to it and I have a connection with the boy because when I am scared I Know that the Lord is with me.

  18. The first poem, Roger the Dog, is about a dog who is very lazy and only wants to sleep an eat. I thunk this because it said he will work as hard as you wish emptying if DINNER DISH. And it said how you can kick and toughie but he still stays sound ASLEEP.

I think If- is about if even though someone gets you down you still have to be yourself. And I think thats very important.

I thunk If- should in because If- is more passionate and tells more of a story, I think Roger the Dog is more a silly poem than a poem about that even though you get yourself down you should always get back up. Even though I know roger the dog already won I think If- should have won.
