I chose the poem “Some One,” because I am part irish and it is funny. There is an alliteration in there too like “i’m sure-sure-sure” the rhyme scheme is ABAB.
The first poem, “Life Doesn’t Frighten Me,” by Maya Angelou, is about a person that is not afraid of one single thing. The mood of the poem is proud and brave. The poem will motivate readers to overcome their fears. I liked this fun poem.

The winner is, “Life Doesn’t Frighten Me,” for sure! One example of an onomatopoeia is, “Bad dogs barking loud,” One more example of writer's craft is, “Life doesn’t frighten me,” that is repetition because it repeats many times in the poem. This poem is the champion of round seven!
The poem, “Some One,” by Walter De La Mare, is about something sounded like knocking on someone’s door, but no one actually knocked. It was just the sounds of nature. It reminds me of a park, because the sounds of nature are all around you.

I have to choose, Some One,” because of the onomatopoeia’s like, “screech, tap-tapping.” It also uses alliteration. For example, “tap-tapping, busy beetle, at all, sure-sure-sure.” I also like this poem because of how it really puts you into the scene. -Maggie Kate #6

I will choose ”Life Doesn’t Frighten Me” because it is very deep and also much better than “Some One.” It also has a very good rhyme scheme. The rhyme scheme is AAB. It also has very good personification. The personification is “Dragons running and going wild.” I think “Life Doesn’t Frighten Me” is a very good poem.

I choose “Some One” because I like the mysteriousness of the story and kinda the creepieness of it like at night. there’s alliteration an example is “only the busy beetle.”

The mood of this poem is to not be scared all the time and to now that you are going to be fine. The meaning to be inspired by this guy to not be scared is scary times.
I pick as my winner ”Life Doesn't Frighten Me.” I picked this poem because when I am scared I mostly just panic, so I can be inspired by this guy to tell myself that it is going to be all fine. There was repetition when it said, “life doesn't frighten me.” There was also a rhyme scheme witch was AAABC and so on. This poem is the definite winner.
