ReplyDeleteI can make a connection to this poem also. Being a new kid at a big school and needing to get a fresh start while getting good grades and friends is hard but you can manage it when you start to get closer to friends.
So in conclusion, and in my opinion, Life Doesn't frighten Me wins game 1 of the Final Four.

I liked this poem's writer's craft more because it used repetition a lot with the words "Life doesn't frighten me at all", and a couplet like "Tough guys fight, all alone at night", or "I just smile, they go wild" at the end of almost every line. It also had alliteration, like "Mean old Mother goose". Finally, I also like its rhyme scheme (AABBCCDD).
