I like life doesn't frighten me because it uses repetition of "life doesn't frighten me". It also teaches you to never to be afraid of anything.

My favorite poem was, Life Doesn't Frighten Me, I liked it because it had detail, and it was realistic. I also liked it because it had onomatopoeia. For example, "I go boo. Make them shoo." I also liked how it showed strong feeling. This is why I chose this poem as my favorite poem.

I thought Life Doesn't frighten me was a well-written poem. I liked the Onomatopoeia "I go boo," I also liked the Alliteration "Mean old Mother Goose," and "Panthers in the park."

I chose Some One as my favorite because the story is simple and I like how it rhymed a lot. I liked the repetition for example the author stated "Some one came knocking At my wee, small door; Some one came knocking." That's why I chose Some One.

Life Doesn't Frighten Me is a beautiful poem about someone saying that life does not frighten them, that they are not scared of anything, that they frighten away all of the things that some people might think that they would be scared of.
ReplyDeleteSome One, by Walter De La Mare, is about a person saying that they were sure that they heard someone knocking at their front door, how they peeked out, and not a soul was there.
My favorite poem is Life Doesn't Frighten Me, by Maya Angelou. I like it because it is saying that you shouldn't let anything in life scare you, how you need to just keep going forward. Another reason I like it is because it just keeps going on and on, convincing you more and more that you should go on. It also has a good rhythm, that, even if you are bored with the words, the pattern keeps you reading.
The first poem I read was called Some One. It is about man that thinks someone is knocking on his door ,and right when he opens the door all he hears is the owl's call and the beatles call from the forest.

I think the winner should be Life Doesn't Frighten Me because she is saying that nothing is going to make me afraid no matter what. Another reason I picked this poem is because she is really brave ,and that is why I think this poem should be the winner.

I chose LIFE DOESN'T FRIGHTEN ME AT ALL because it had a good rhyme scheme and it also used repetition because the poet kept saying Life Doesn't Frighten Me at all. I also chose it because it had some good onomatopoeias like scream, barking, breathing, boo, and more! The last reason I chose it was because it was a little bit more descriptive and because I like long poems that have a deep meaning. That is why I chose Life Doesn't Frighten Me at all as the winner!

I chose Some One for the winner because it was kind of funny but in a serious way. I also chose it for the winner because it really described what they heard, for example the poem said, "The screech-owls call, Only the cricket whistling." One more reason why I chose this for the winner is because it used repetition (Someone came knocking at my wee small door, someone came knocking)
