This Is Just to Say is about someone who ate someones breakfast plums. He is confessing that he did it and is not lying about it.

I chose the poem, Choosing Shoes, because it had lots of writer's craft. The poet, Frida Wolfe used repetition by saying shoes on each line at the end. The rhyme scheme is (AAAB) for the first three paragraphs. Choosing Shoes was also more detailed to me than eating a plum. This poem made me feel jazzy wearing my shoes!

Sorry it erased everything so you told me to write the end again. I choose Choosing Shoes for the winner, because of it's rhyme scheme AAAB which gives it great rhythm. Another reason I choose it was because of its repetition of shoes over and over again. Plus this is totally like me because I'm always having trouble deciding what to wear. So I choose Choosing Shoes for my true winner.

But the sort of shoes they will buy aren't sparkly, pink, or any of that. They buy "flat shoes" and "fat shoes" because the store won't let them buy the good shoes.
