The first poem, Choosing Shoes, is about a girl who is getting new shoes. She is admiring how pretty all the other shoes and wishing she could have some. However, she knows she is getting regular shoes.

I chose Choosing Shoes because it has a rhyme scheme. For example: the poem goes like this, AAA B AAA B, all the way through. It also uses imagery when it says, "Flat shoes, fat shoes,". It also is kind of a tongue twister.

My favorite poem was,Life Doesn't Frighten Me, because of the imagery. For example, When it says," Shadows on the wall noises down the hall." I see an empty hall with scary shadows on the walls.
Life Dose't Frighten Me is about is about a person who is not scared of any thing and thing that frighten people. Also it is about how she can do any thing. Choosing Shoes is about a person taking about all kinds of types of shoe and people.I like Life doesn't Frighten me because l think that it is kind of not to be afraid and I also like how she said that she could walk on water referring to than to say you can do any thing.
