Dear students,

You’re a scientist who has just discovered a new planet. In one year, people will be coming to live on it. What will your planet be like? What will you name your planet? Write a paragraph describing your new planet.
Be sure to include:
- a topic sentence
- supporting details
- complete sentences
- correct spelling, capitalization (M.I.N.T.S.), and end punctuation.
- a closing sentence
Here is an example of an advanced/proficient post:
If I discovered a new planet, I would call it Awesomya! It would be made of sand, water, and gushers. You could swim and play all day, and then you could go to Gushers Island and eat. Also, they would serve normal water and healthy food too, so you could survive.There would be animals on the planet, and they would be really fuzzy and cute. There would be no mosquitos or chiggers. People would come to Awesomeya and live there. They would develop the planet just like Earth. I would love to travel to the new planet, Awesomeya.

If I had a planet I would name it ricky. Ricky would have a face because who in thier right mind name a planet ricky if it didi not have a face on it!? Anyway I would have to feed it because it flooded alot.

You would just imagin what kind of wether you would want it to be and setting.There would be all you can eat ice cream bar.It would also have where you could pick out a dog for free!There would be no mean animals and animals that bite you!

DeleteIf I discovered a new planet I would name it My Pillow. The best part of my pillow is that it is hard as a rock. And everyone at my pillow eats rocks. And the main sport is snake wrestling. And there will be a lot of pet ligars. I think my planet would be really fun

ReplyDeleteif i discovered a new planet, i would call it planet unicorn! it would be made of rainbow fluff and lots of candy. You would not have to have shoes (because of the fluff) two hours of school a day a school week would be three day long and you would have school every other week, and no homework! You could live off candy (but still survive) and there would only be cute non-harmful animals including unicorns! I would love to go to planet unicorn someday!

If I found a planet it would be called meow meow! You would get to eat anything you want and the ground would be made out of a fluffy carpet. You could control the weather. There is a 100,000,000,000,000,000,000, of rocket ships to save the dinosaurs from array 152. There would be cats roaming around the planet and a micin so if you are allergic to cats you would not be any more! there would also be a geny so you you can have anything you want.You could also get to have a cat. ReplyDeleteIf I were to create a new planet I would call is Resfusha. It would have a king squirrel named Resfusha jr.Oh how everyone would love king Resfusha jr. He has fought a bunch of battles and on of them was vers h4boby 😅😅😤 but then once h4obby died they were all so safe and that was the story of Resfusha the best planet in the world. I would have lots of cucumbers and that was all they could eat. The people would be brown with yellow hair and long feet marywindham
ReplyDeleteIf I discovered a new planet, I would name it World #2. It would have diamonds raining from the sky. Also there would be an infinite oceans everywhere. If you asked for anything it would just fall from the sky [Perfect for babies]. You could even ask for the weather to change, and it would only do that to you. Planet #2 would be the best planet ever discovered.

My planet would be named ear, and it would have a lot of turtles. It would also have no trees because trees are bad for the environment.But there would be one tree only and the tree would have branches and chairs instead leaves. The only cars would be minivans. The only animals besides turtles would be slugs. My plant is the best because the only restaurant would be Starbucks and Arby's.

It would be a place where kids were in school all day and all of them would come home with literally a mountain of homework. All of the jobs would be working at Jersey Mikes and all of the kids on the weekends would have to run laps. I hope you like my planet.

My planet would be called king kaboom, and It would have a lot of dogs and It would show all the fantesy football scores on a huge TV,and It would be like double dogs there is great food and a lot of TV's with all the games on , and there would be the most famous people who played a sport,and there would be a huge football feild to play football,and there would be alians waiting n you so they can serve you food.

ReplyDeleteIf I found a planet and peaple would live on it I would call it sports ball. You would live there and you would be playing sports every day! If you do not like sports you would not live there. It is a place were you will never stop playing sports. You would have to be in good shape to get in too. You would wake up in the morning and start playing sports at 6:00. You would be having gatorade breaks after each game. it would be the best planet ever! Henry W.

There would be a purge every year which means the purge is a year long which means there would be purges in the year the purge is going on so infinite purges much?. There is also dinosaurs that you tame and fight n the purge. Oh and are food supply is vegan air. So come to my planet were you'll most likely be in a lot of pain. Ben

If I discovered a new planet I would name it Magic. At Magic there would be a environment like earth's, so you could breath and there would be water and food. In the middle of the planet (the planet is very small) there would be a gigantic pool where you could swim all day. Beside the pool there would be the largest food court you have ever seen. At Magic you can adopt any animal in the world because the animals there would never hurt you. That would be my perfect planet.

If i had a planet I would name it Jonathan. It would have a lot of candy and there would be a donkey. and a lot of Tigers here at planet jonathan. There would be the cleanest water there could be. With amazing food! Then everyone would have a baby Tiger that is friendly! Also The planet would be blue. But not just any Blue the prettiest Blue ever! So if I had a planet that is just what I would do!

If I discovered a new planet it would be named horse galaxy. It would be made out of big plains and flowers. It would have horses everywhere and all these different kind of animals but mostly horses.Also, there would be no diseases or spiders.There would be some really good restraunts but the best would be called mouse like cheese.I think my planet would be really fun!-Tilly
ReplyDeleteIf I discovered a new planet it would be called Cool Giraffe And German Shepherd Planet(for short,CGAGSP).There would be 1.7 billion giraffes and 2.4 billion German shepherds.You could eat anything because you would just snap your fingers and it would pop out in your hands. There would not be much SPACE(ha ha get it?!)for people because of all the giraffes and German shepherds,so just my family could live there.You could float instead of walking. Georgia

ReplyDeleteIf I had a planet it would be named RODENTS RULE!!!!!!!!It would have hamsters,mice,chinchillas,and gerbils.It would be made of cheese and cheese puffs and you could eat cheese all day long and when you ate it the next day it would be back to normal unlimited supply!you had to own 1 of the rodents it would be awesome!!!!!!!!
