Would you rather have a three-day weekend every week or have an extra month of summer vacation?

If I had the choice to have a three-day weekend every week or have an extra month of summer vacation, I would rather have a three-day weekend every week. If I had a three-day weekend instead of two days, I would get a lot more done! In addition, I would not have to work as much, and I could spend more time working out, shopping, reading, relaxing, and hanging out with my friends. Plus, I would not feel so rushed on my weekends. I could even go out of town for long weekends and visit family and friends! However, some may prefer an extra month of summer vacation because they could take longer trips. I think the benefits of longer weekends out weigh the benefits of an extra month of summer. I prefer having a three-day weekend rather than having another month of summer vacation.

If I had another day on the weekend, I could get more rest, play with family, have more playdates, get all of my work done early, and I could have a mini vacation. Some people would prefer an extra month of summer because they could have longer trips and have more time to do new things. I disagree because if we had a three-day weekend every week, than we could have lots of mini vacations. I would rather have a three-day weekend every weekend than have an extra month of summer.

Also, I might not be right about this but, I think that all of those extra days add up to more than a month. Some people would want an extra month of summer because they could do more fun things. I think that having a three day weekend is better than having an extra month of summer vacation.

DeleteI would rather have a three day weekend than an extra month of summer vacation. If I had a three day weekend, I could do a lot of other things. I could go on small two day trips to places. I could have more time to relax and visit my family. I could also get school work done faster and have more time to relax. However, some people would prefer to have an extra month of summer vacation to go on long trips and such, but if there is a three day weekend, there are only four days of school in a week! That is why I would choose to have a three day weekend instead of an extra month of summer vacation. More time, less schol equals more relaxing.
ReplyDeleteMy choice would be a three day weekend every weekend. Here is why. NUMBER 1, you can just do nothing on one of the days. NUMBER 2, I can have a day of one thing and do that longer and do the other thing the next day. NUMBER 3, It would eliminate MONDAYS/ the day no one likes. My counter argument is if you have a extra month of summer you can go on a 30 day trip and have 90 days left instead of 60. I think longer weekends are better

If I had to choose between a three-day weekend or an extra month of summer I would chose an extra month of summer because we would have a normal weekend with a long summer. I like to have more time to play in the summer because it is nice outside, and I could go to the pool. I also like to go on a summer vacation, and if we had more time it could be longer! However, some people may think we don't get enough time off in the school year, but we do! We have two days off on the weekends, we have fall break, winter break, spring break, and an occasional half day. That's why I prefer an extra month of summer.

DeleteIf I had an option to have a three day weekend or an extra month of summer I would choose an extra month of summer.here are some reasons why I won't have school for another month. Second, I can hang out with my friends longer. Finally, I don't have to worry about homework until the year starts. But others may think that having an extra day as a weekend is better because they can hang out with their family more because it is the weekend and they don't have to work. Those are the reasons that I want to have one extra month for summer.

I would want to have a three day weekend because you would get more days of free time from school than an extra month of summer. I would love to have an extra month of summer but I think that a three-day weekend would be a lot more fun. For example, you could get more things done. Like, you can get most things out of the way that you forgot to do the last to days. That is why I would like to have a three-day weekend!

However, I might want to choose a three day weekend because if you have any homework that you have to finish, or if you have a project that needs to be done, then you can work on that during the weekend. ReplyDeleteIf I could choose to have a 3-day weekend or an extra month of summer, I would have a 3-day weekend. If I had a three day weekend I could have 3 sleepovers in a week! I even may be able to go to out lake houses for the 3-day weekend! I would feel pretty pumped about a 3-day weekend. The only cons are our teacher could dump us off with more homework. Although having a 3-day weekend would be super swag, some may argue having an extra month of summer would be better. But after that month they would be back to old 2 day weekend. Not only that, but the teacher could give us even MORE homework like 5 hours extra of reading.They would be enraged to whom created summer reading. In conclusion, a 3-day weekend would be more enjoyable than an extra month of summer.

A second reason I would choose a 3 day weeked I s you would only have to go to school 4 days a week insted of 5. My last resone is that I could have more family time. I would choose a three day weekend because if you think about it having a three day weekend and counting up all of the weekend days than it is more than a month. I also would choose the three day weekend because I could have less days of school than having an extra month of summer vacation. If I choose summer vacation I would have to do more homework. If there was no homework over the summer than I would have chosen 1 more month of summer vacation. Some might think that having one extra month of summer vacation is better because you get to sleep in more but you can sleep in an extra day if you had a three day weekend. That is why I think having a three day weekend is better than having an extra month of summer vacation.

I would choose this because you can start a long-term project, that you couldn't do with a bunch of short vacations. You can also plan a longer trip to go on with you and your family. If you have a longer summer, you can get more energy out, so you can focus in school. Some may counter that, with a 3 day weekend every week, your extra time would be evenly spread out, however I argue that with extra evenly spread out, with bits of time here and there, you can't start a longer project, or something like that. I would rather have an extra month of summer than have a 3 day weekend every week.
ReplyDeleteIf I had the choice of getting three day weekends, or having an extra month of summer, I would choose an extra month of summer. Here's why: We would get to go on a longer vacation. Also, all the pools are open longer. If you're at the beach, you can get a better tan. You can see more, do more, and a lot more things. Some people might prefer a longer weekend because you can take a short vacation, or lay of of school. But the worst thing about having a three day weekend is your teacher might assign you MORE homework. This is why I chose a longer summer over a longer weekend.

One reason is because people would be able to plan longer vacations or have more vacations. The second reason is because I could spend more quality time with my friends and family.[ especially grandparents because they buy you whatever you want] It would be nice to just be able to sit down with them and talk to them or go to the movies with them. My last reason is because you could have more times to do activities and not feel rushed. For example, if you are not finished with your reading then an extra month of summer could help you catch up with it. Another example is sports. If you ate trying out for a sport or you are just practicing to get better you could have more time to practice instead having to do it right after you get home from school everyday. Although I would rather have an extra month of summer, one could argue that a 3 day weekend is better. They would probably think it is better because you get more time to do your homework and you have more time to just settle down and relax instead of feeling rushed. If you have a lot to do on a 2 day weekend it is probably hard to cram your homework into your schedule too! That is why I chose an extra month of summer over a 3 day weekend.

DeleteIf I had to choose between an extra month of summer or a three day weekend I would choose an extra month of summer. With an extra month of summer you could go to different places and they could be longer trips, and you could sleep in. Also if you did swim team you usually have to wake up earlier then in that extra month of summer you would be done waking up early and you would get to sleep in. With a longer summer mean less homework and less school work. While with a three day weekend you could travel to places for a while but with a longer summer you could go someplace for a month! Those are just some of the reason of why I would want a longer summer.

However,people might want to have an extra month of summer so the could do more things and take longer vacations. I think parents would want to have a three day weekend because the would just do things that they would do on a regular weekend. ReplyDeleteI would choose a three-day weekend rather than an extra month of summer for many reasons. First of all, we would have more time to get our hour of reading and twenty minutes of IXL done. In addition, It would give us more time to rest for Mondays. On the other hand, people might choose an extra month of summer because you would have forty less days of school, but that would mean having to cram in more work in a day. Plus, if the work doesn't get done in time, we would have to cut down our enrichment time and recess time. So in conclusion, I think that a three day weekend would have more benefits than an extra month of summer.

Also in summer it is fun to eat popsicles and ice cream in the heat of summer instead of it being freezing in the winter or rainy in the fall or spring. Another reason it think this is you could go to a lot more summer camps. Some may say that a three day weekend is better, but if the weekend is three days you are less likely to have snowed out days. ReplyDeleteI would rather be able to see one year into the world's future than 10 years into my future. This is because, first of all, If war was coming, I could tell people and we could prepare. Second, I could see who was going to become president around election time. Also, I would be able to see if someone was going to get hurt, and I could tell them not to do the thing that would hurt them. Some people might argue that you could see what you were going to do when you grow up, or what grades you will get when you are in college. I can counter that it is not good for someone to see that far into the future, for then they don't have to rely on God as much, because they know everything will turn out fine, though God can change the future. I would like to be able to see 1 year into the world's future, more than being able to see 10 years into my future.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose between having chocolate cake and chocolate cake only for the rest of my life, or never having it again, I would choose never having it again because, first of all, if you only eat chocolate cake, you will get very sick because your body doesn't have enough nutrients to live. Also, if you only ate chocolate cake, you would get tired of it. Even though I wouldn't be able to eat chocolate cake, I would still be able to eat other sweets, so it wouldn't be the end of the world. Some people claim that you can't physically live without your favorite food, but, I'm sorry, I have to break it to you, it is possible. I would rather never have chocolate cake again than have it be the only thing I ever eat for the rest of my life.
