The poem, Roger the Dog, is about a dog who has good and bad qualities. The poem, The Falling Star, is about a priceless sight of a falling star. I chose, The Falling Star, because it has more meaning to me and it rhymes better.

My favorite one would be the first one,Roger the dog,because I to love my sleep and do not like one people wake me up, and I love the humor when the dog did not want to wake up.

My favorite poem was Roger The Dog because I really liked the rhyming. I also really liked the way the person was telling all the ways Roger was sleeping really deeply, and how no matter what his owners tried to do they just couldn't get Roger up.

The first poem I read, Roger the Dog, is about a lazy dog that is fat. I think he is fat because it says, He will not race, he will not romp, He saves his strength for gobble and chop. Roger the Dog is by Ted Hughes.

In my opinion the best poem was, Rodger The Dog. I love to sleep in and don't like to be woken up. I also like the writers craft. As in the way he always had a rhyme scheme every stanza. The humor and funny words are also one of my plusses on this poem. I also like how, in my opinion, you could see a mini movie in your mind. I also like the similes in the poem.

The first poem, Roger the Dog, is about a owner telling the reader about his pet dog, Roger. The owner thinks Roger is a really lazy, messy, sleepy, and does not really listen to his commands kind of dog.

My favorite poem is The Falling star. It is my favorite because it is telling a story of a wonderful sight on a starry night that was a shooting star, and the person was going to wish upon it. I also liked when it rhymes. I always like those kinds of poems because they have this kind of groove that just flows with the poem. I have a connection with the feeling that person had when that person saw a shooting star. I feel enchanted too.
Roger the Dog is about a lazy dog who wakes up from his nap and scratches his fleas and hogs the fire to warm his head. Roger is also a very lazy dog always you can nudge Roger with your foot and he stays asleep.
