I have thought a great deal about my OLW. For 2013, I selected "trust" as my One Little Word. I selected "trust" because I don't always trust God's plan and try to make my own way. I need this word to remind me to trust not only His plan for me, but also to trust in the strengths and talents He has blessed me with, rather than worry about the future. Trust can apply to my life in so many ways - through friends, work, my students, my family, myself, and ultimately, God's plan for me. I will use this word to guide me through the days of 2013.

My little word is Inspire. It makes me look up to the people that are doing the right thing. I can look up to someone and follow the right things they do and that will teach me to do the right thing. I can do the right things and set a good example.
ReplyDeletefor my one little word, my word is carefree. alot of things in my life are now getting stress full,like, im moving soon and so i going to have to help my mom out perparing the house and all so

I thoink since i am moving this spring, i am going to help my mom get the house ready for the house to seal. so I think I am going to have a lot of care free time and relazing time. And school i am going to think carefree because of all the work, so i think carefree is a good one little word for me for 2013!!!

My OLW is going to be complete because I need to start completing what I have started. I will not quit.For example once I started a book. I never finished that book and I wish I completed it.I will complete math tests, books,and so on.
ReplyDeleteThis Year in 2013 my OLW is embrace because I want to embrace my self and others. I also want to embrace in what I do and what I create so I can be a more self confident person.
ReplyDeleteMy word is trust because this year i need to learn to trust my gymnastics coach when she says that she will catch me if i fall and i also need to trust that i can do something even if i'm a little scared at first.
ReplyDeleteMy one little word I choose for this new year is wholehearted because i think that if I become more enthusiastic and extitable I will become more confident in things. I also think that having a feeling that you are going to have lots of fun ina activity, you have a chance that you are going to win . It makes you feel better and more confident.
ReplyDeletemy one little word is 'believe' because god tells you to believe in him because you think you can do things on your on, but you make things worse because you need god to help you on every thing because we make mistakes and we're not perfect.
ReplyDeleteMy little OLW is going to be challeng because I never challeng myself and I always stick with what I know but for 2013 I am going to try and challeng myself. I will sometimes stick with what I know but I will try new things more.
ReplyDeleteMy little word is confidence. When you are loosing you are loosing you have to take the courage and the trust to take shot. You have to be confident to catch, to run, to throw. If your whole team is thinking we are going to loose and your best player is fouled out take the courage and be confident in yourself.
ReplyDeleteThe meaning of confidence is trust. Trust in yourself to take the throw, the shot, the catch, or the run. In football or basketball if your going up against someone bigger than you box them out or take them down or beat them to the basket. That is the meaning of confidence.
I half to tell you a story. When Duke played Kentucky in the final four.It went back and fourth good shot after another. So it went in to over time. There were 10.2 seconds in the game.Sean Woods the Kentucky point guard was going to the basket through it up and it went in. Still there were 2.1 seconds left. Grant Hill The Duke forward thruogh the ball down to the Duke center Christain Leatner he put the ball on the floor and shot at the buzzer it swished through the net and Duke won by 1. Both of those shots by Leatner and Shon Woods took a lot of confidence to take those shots.
I chose ahead for my word in 2013. I always a little behind on a lot of things in my life school, school, and chores! I am also behind on my church schedule. It's hard to keep be ahead with scol work troubling me and piling me. That is why I chose Ahead

ReplyDeleteFriendship is my one little word form 2013. I chose friendship because friendship falls under a lot of categories. you need to listen, trust, and be loyal to your friends. I have so many great friends, but sometimes i my not do all of those things. so i am working really heard on being a good friend.
ReplyDeleteMy OLW is confidence. In 2012 I was not very confident in myself. So in 2013 I would like to be more confident in my actions and in life. I want to be more confident in myself on help others achive it to if it is their goal.

The reason I have chose believe is because I have to believe in god to strengthen me, to have faith in me, and to help me through hard times.Sometimes I do not believe in my self because I am scared, but when I believe in god I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.

ReplyDeleteMy OLW is calm because my parents don't like it when i am crazy, wreck stuff, don't listen, and most of all irritate others. I think this will guide me to listen,not be crazy, not wreck stuff, and not irritate others.
ReplyDeleteMy one little word is"brave".it is brave because in my life I need to be brave. Bravery is very important to me. In my life there is going to be scary and hard, but I am going to be brave and power though. I am going to use my OLW in my life to help me encorage others to be brave with me. This year me and my OLW are gong to stay together. We are going to be BRAVE.
ReplyDeleteMy OLW is encourage. Because I get sad a lot an need to cheer myself up. I also need to be encouraging to others instead of being bossy. You can't be happy if you are not encouraging because being encouraging is also being a good sport, being fun, being brave, being smart, cheerful, kind, caring, and full of wonder. I think encouraging is important because every one gets down every once and a while and needs to be cheered up!

I chose that word because It is a word I use a lot and I like this word because it is a word I use when I try things new like doing something I am scared to do something. The word adventure will help me in the future because God gave me talents and I have to figure out what those talents are before I die. So I have to be adventurous and find those before I die.
ReplyDeleteMy OLW is happiness because when you are stressed out and you need to take a breather, think of happiness and good things will come to you. When I was little I always believed that when you think of something, like encourage, you have this little picture in your mind that represents that special word itself. When I think of happiness I think of the times with my loved ones, the ones who have passed away. Happiness brings our families together and helps us stick together.
ReplyDeleteI think I should be resilient because we sold one of my dogs, and it was very sad. I already miss her so badly. She isn't to far away I she went to Franklin, they also have dog that she can play with.
ReplyDeleteMy one little world is commitment because sometimes I will say I will do something and then I won't feel up to doing it. For example I will say that I will go to the resteront and then when it is time to go the place I'll say,"I don't want to go there.
ReplyDeleteMy one little word is balance because sometimes something bad will happen in my life and I will need to balance it with good.For example when my great grandfather died a little before Christmas I had to balance that with joy that Christmas was here and also that my great grandfather was in heaven.
ReplyDeleteMy one little word is joy to always remind me that you need to do things in this order jesus,others and then yourself. For example sometimes it can be hard to do that for me mostly when it's near Christmas time because I'm really only thinking about what I want and I'm not thinking about what Jesus would want me to do and also what I can do for others.
